Objectives:
Development of a topology optimisation methodology for multi-physics problems for internal flow problems at moderate Reynolds number.
Development of integrated multigrid approaches for the fully coupled design and analysis problem in order to solve large scale 3D problems on parallel computers.
Integration of adjoint-based and OC-based topology optimisation: comparative assessment of range of applicability and performance at moderate and high Reynolds numbers.
Development of guidelines for design implementation in terms of design resolution and convergence of optimisation algorithm (CPU time versus usability).
